Everyone knows – simply navigating change no longer works. That's why government agencies, defense and key government...

contractors have long trusted Grass Valley with their broadcast and media needs. At Government Video Expo this year, we'll be showcasing solutions across the industry's widest array of broadcast and media solutions that help you stay efficient, tell better stories and meet your mission objectives, ensuring that change will become opportunity.

Today, especially, the constraints and challenges of handling video in secure and sensitive environments is particularly important. When you integrate Grass Valley solutions into your facility and workflows, you gain access to a strategic leader in industrial, enterprise and media market solutions with the scale and stability to withstand the cyclical nature of the media business while delivering world-class, global support to the markets we serve.

During Government Video Expo, we will be highlighting the recently released GV Korona K-Frame V-series production switcher which is specifically designed for small and mid-range applications — where compromise on performance is not an option. The V-series features a 3 RU frame and is most often coupled with the Korona 1, 2 or 3 M/E panel. The size, scalability and price point meets the needs of smaller scale environments, with room to grow.

As more broadcast and video environments move to IP transport, system monitoring becomes a challenge. If you are considering the transition from baseband to IP, come by the booth and see how the Kaleido-IP Multiviewer brings the function and flexibility of the Kaleido baseband series of multiviewers into the IP world. Kaleido IP is designed to allow for signal monitoring within the IP framework to allow operators to monitor and assess the quality of IP video environments.

Grass Valley has been a leader in fiber optic video transport for decades. Under the former Telecast product line (now the Grass Valley fiber line), traditional interfaces and new format requirements allow for long distance fiber connection of multiple locations.

With the latest in SDI and IP video technologies, and with a variety of price-points, it's time to rethink Grass Valley. We look forward to seeing you at Government Video Expo!
