At NAB 2022 Lawo announced a brand new SDI/IP video & audio product called .edge.
Housed in 2RU frame, featuring up to four boards with 48 SDI interfaces each, it is the SDI/IP product with the largest density of SDI interfaces per rack unit on the market.

Each card consists of 2x 100G QSFP connectors, 4x 25G SFP connectors and 2x 1G SFP connectors on the front and 48 HD-BNC on the rear side plus 5 reference I/O. All 48 SDI I/O's are planned to be 12G-capable and also MADI-capable. 12 connectors are fixed to input direction, 12 are fixed to output direction and 24 connectors are bidirectional.
